Next in Charge

Privacy Policy

Last updated 14 October 2026

Next in Charge (the iPhone and CarPlay app, and the website nextincharge.app) is made by Oddvolt AB, Sweden. This policy explains what the app does with your data. The short version: it uses your location to find chargers, and nothing is stored or shared.

Your location

To show the chargers near you, and the ones coming up on the road you're driving, the app sends your current position, direction and speed to our server at nextincharge.app. The server uses it to answer that request and then forgets it:

You can turn location off at any time in Settings โ†’ Privacy & Security โ†’ Location Services. The charger map still works without it.
